The Dodd Neighborhood, established in 2006, is one of the four upperclass residential neighborhoods at Williams College.  It consists of nine dorms located in the northeast part of campus: Dodd, Hubbell, Parsons, Goodrich,  Lehman, Sewall, Tyler, Tyler Annex, and Thompson, with Dodd as the “hub” of the neighborhood.  Although the dorms mostly vary in architectural style, the white colonial-style Dodd House has a distinct green trim that inspired the neighborhood’s colors.  Dodd Neighborhood happens to have two dining halls in rather central locations: Dodd (located in Dodd House) and Mission.

Dodd House was built in 1869 by Cyrus Morris Dodd ’55, Professor of Mathematics. Some time after his death it became the Williams Inn, until the new Williams Inn was built in 1974.
