The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is organizing several Math/Stat Virtual “Gelato Social” advising events. Students interested in taking courses in Mathematics and Statistics, as well as students interested in learning more about the Mathematics and Statistics Majors are invited to attend them. These events will take place on:
Monday, August 3, Noon-2pm ET with Professors Blackwood, Cai, Carlson, Johnson, Klingenberg, Morrison, Ning, Stoiciu, and Upton.
Wednesday, August 5, 2-4pm ET with Professors De Veaux, Goedhart, Goldmakher, Loepp, Morrison, Ning, Stoiciu, and Upton.
Friday, August 7, 10am-Noon ET with Professors Cai, Carlson, Goedhart, Goldmakher, Loepp, Plantinga, Stoiciu, Topaz, and Turek.
Wednesday, August 12, 2-4pm ET with Professors De Veaux, Harris, Johnson, Miller, Ning, Plantinga, Stoiciu, and Topaz.
