Mathematics and Statistics Junior Majors are encouraged to consider applying to write a thesis in the Mathematics and Statistics Department during all or part of the academic year 2021-2022. Writing a thesis in Mathematics or Statistics is a rewarding process that will allow you to work on an exciting research project under the supervision of a faculty advisor. The deadline for submitting the thesis application form is April 25, 2021 (at 11:59pm ET). In order to provide more information about this process, SMASAB is organizing a Research Fair on Monday, April 19 at Noon ET. At the Research Fair there will be a discussion about thesis logistics and the students will have the opportunity to hear from current thesis students about the experience.
